After a break of two years Brussels based duo GoldFFinch are back with ‘The Light’ 12′′, the 2nd release on their own label Transitional.
Featuring 3 tracks of hypnotic Techno, designed and thoroughly stress tested for club use, ‘The Light’ marks a welcome return from the Belgian duo.

After having previously released on acclaimed labels Gilles & Yoann took the quixotic decision to completely re-evaluate their approach to music production in 2018 and rebuild their studio from scratch, invest in analogue equipment and start their own label to give them full control over their careers.
The result is an EP that takes everything that saw GoldFFinch’s releases championed by the likes of Dixon, Boddika and Ambivalent and dials it up to 11.

The driving rhythms are if anything tauter and even more economical, a greater focus on sound design ensures even more space to lose yourself in the EP’s ethereal soundscapes and once again their use of industrial sounds and percussive elements nods to their country’s rich electronic music heritage.
